Munchy’z was founded in Pullman, WA in August of 2001 by our Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Reshad Kazimee. The vision was to provide college campuses with a unique and trendy atmosphere that would appeal to college students. The idea of a quick service sandwich shop that served Mediterranean pitas, American subs, all American hot dogs, nachos, and various other munchies would prove to be popular with the late night bar crowd. Along with the great food Munchy’z offered a very unique style of tobacco smoking. The Hookah is an elaborate water pipe in which you smoke flavored tobacco from. The flavors that are available for the Hookah include flavors such as Apple, Cola, Strawberry, Grape, Mango, Orange, Mint, Rose and more. The sweet, relaxing, smooth smoke of the Hookah lasts over half an hour and allows customers plenty of time to socialize in the attractive atmosphere.

The products that Munchy’z offers are bigger, better and cheaper than the competition including delicious sub sandwiches, pitas, nachos, and various appetizers and drinks. In addition, Munchy’z would have an outdoor barbeque that would serve the best hotdogs around to customers on the late night weekend. Daily specials are offered to attract college students frequently. Delivery was found to be the answer to a college student who lives in a dorm without a car. The Munchy’z delivery structure allows for the quickest food delivery ever. The prices of Munchy’z food compete at a price-quality level. Being slightly cheaper than the competition, Munchy’z offers a simple, yet gourmet-like quality product that blows away the competition. The Hookah is what differentiates Munchy’z from any other sandwich shop. The flavored tobacco that is smoked through an Egyptian style water pipe is one of the new trends making a huge emergence on college campuses. What makes this experience more enjoyable than a cigar room or a bar is the social aspect of the experience. The sweet taste of the smoke that comes in over 50 different flavors is of the smoothest smoke ever. It is a steamed smoke that is done with ease. Students over the age of 18 gather at Munchy’z to ideally eat food, smoke a Hookah, then by dessert and drinks. There is a set price for the Hookah with various options to upgrade the type of sheesha, size of the bowl, and even the number of hoses on the hookah. A limit of up to 3 people smoking per single hose Hookah is strongly enforced. Typically a Hookah experience lasts anywhere from half an hour to an hour depending on the size of bowl and quality of the tobacco that one would order. Customers often upgrade their Hookah from the standard price to the Premium tobacco, a Big Bowl, and a three Hose. Prices are set accordingly.
